Cleaning Schedule Terms of Use
Effective date: 28 August 2026
Apple Standard EULA: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to your use of the Cleaning Schedule app (“the app”). By downloading or using Cleaning Schedule, you agree to these Terms.
Apple terms
Cleaning Schedule is licensed through Apple’s App Store, not sold. Your use of the app is also governed by Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Standard EULA”), which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
App Store purchases, subscriptions, billing, cancellation, and refunds are also subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
These Terms supplement the Standard EULA and do not replace it. If these Terms conflict with the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA controls to the extent required by Apple or applicable law.
What Cleaning Schedule does
Cleaning Schedule helps people in one household plan, assign, and track one-time and repeating cleaning tasks.
The app can store a household on an iPhone, synchronize a household between devices through iCloud and, when eligible, share a household with invited participants through Apple CloudKit.
Cleaning Schedule does not provide a separate developer-operated user account or authentication system. Apple Account, iCloud, App Store subscription, and household membership are separate services and states.
Your household information
You are responsible for the household settings, member display names, room names, task titles, notes, schedules, and other information you enter.
Only add information that is appropriate for the people who may see it. Avoid entering passwords, financial information, medical information, or other sensitive content in task titles or notes.
You retain your rights in the content you create. You grant Apple and the app the technical permissions needed to store, synchronize, and display that content as part of the app’s operation.
Household collaboration
A household owner may invite other people to a Cleaning Schedule household through Apple’s CloudKit sharing interface.
People who accept an invitation may receive access to household information made available through that share, including member profiles, rooms, task definitions, schedules, assignments, occurrences, completion history, and household-vacation information.
Choose invitees carefully. Household participants are responsible for changes they make through their copy of the app.
CloudKit synchronization is asynchronous. Changes may take time to appear and can be delayed by network availability, iCloud availability, device settings, or Apple service conditions. Cleaning Schedule does not guarantee immediate synchronization.
Apple Family Sharing and Cleaning Schedule household sharing are separate. Joining an Apple family does not automatically join a Cleaning Schedule household, and accepting a household invitation does not itself provide subscription access.
Acceptable use
You may use Cleaning Schedule for lawful personal and household-planning purposes.
You may not:
- misuse or interfere with the app or its services;
- attempt to bypass purchase, entitlement, role, or household-access controls;
- use the app to violate applicable law or another person’s rights;
- send household invitations to people without an appropriate reason or permission; or
- enter or share unlawful, abusive, or harmful content.
Cleaning and safety
Cleaning Schedule is an organisational tool. It is not professional cleaning, health, chemical-safety, or emergency advice.
Follow product labels, appliance instructions, equipment manuals, and applicable safety guidance. Do not rely on a task, reminder, or notification as the only safeguard for a hazardous, urgent, or safety-critical activity.
Reminders
Cleaning Schedule can schedule local task and assignment notifications when notification permission is enabled.
Notification delivery depends on iOS settings, device state, and system scheduling. Notifications may be delayed, suppressed, or unavailable. The task information shown inside the app remains the primary record.
Disabling notifications does not prevent use of the app.
Cleaning Schedule Premium
Cleaning Schedule may offer weekly and annual automatically renewing subscriptions.
The annual subscription may include a seven-day introductory trial for eligible Apple Accounts when Apple displays that offer. Trial availability is determined by Apple.
Available products, current prices, billing periods, renewal terms, and offer eligibility are displayed by Apple before purchase. Prices are not fixed by this document.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm a purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled in accordance with Apple’s applicable subscription terms.
Deleting Cleaning Schedule does not cancel a subscription.
Premium may provide:
- more than five active tasks;
- complete itemized history; and
- household collaboration, including invitations, assignments, and shared completion status.
Eligible subscriptions may support Apple Family Sharing. Family-shared access depends on Apple’s eligibility, account, and sharing rules and is not guaranteed for every invitee.
Every Cleaning Schedule household participant needs active Premium access from their own purchase or an eligible Family-shared subscription to use protected collaboration actions. A participant without active or verifiable Premium access may retain read-only access where the app permits it.
Managing purchases
Use Settings → Subscription → Manage Subscription in Cleaning Schedule to open Apple’s subscription-management interface.
Use Restore Purchases to ask Apple and the app’s purchase service to restore eligible access for the current Apple Account.
Apple processes payments, cancellations, and refund requests. We do not receive your payment-card details.
Apple provides subscription-management guidance at If you want to cancel a subscription from Apple.
Refund eligibility and refund requests are handled through reportaproblem.apple.com.
Third-party services
Cleaning Schedule depends on services supplied by Apple, including iOS, the App Store, StoreKit, iCloud, CloudKit, notifications, and system diagnostics.
Cleaning Schedule uses RevenueCat to obtain product, purchase, and subscription entitlement information. RevenueCat receives an automatically generated anonymous Purchase Support ID and the purchase-related information and technical metadata required to provide that service.
Your use of those services is also subject to their applicable terms and policies.
Availability and changes
The app’s behaviour depends on the iPhone, iOS version, Apple Account, iCloud configuration, notification settings, network availability, subscription state, and Apple or RevenueCat service availability.
We may update, improve, change, suspend, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary. We do not guarantee that every feature will always be available on every device, in every country, or through every Apple Account.
Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Privacy
The Cleaning Schedule Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information.
Disclaimer and limitation
Cleaning Schedule is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, subject to the warranties, remedies, limitations, and consumer rights contained in the Standard EULA and applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of the app, including delayed reminders, delayed synchronization, household changes, unavailable services, or lost data.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, remedies, consumer rights, or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Ending use
You may stop using Cleaning Schedule and delete the app at any time.
Deleting the app does not:
- cancel an App Store subscription;
- delete household data stored in iCloud;
- end participation in a CloudKit household share; or
- delete purchase records maintained by Apple or RevenueCat.
A household member may use Leave Household to end their participation. A household owner may use Delete Household to delete the household and end access for its participants. Follow the warnings shown by the app because confirmed household deletion has no app-provided undo or restoration.
Subscription cancellation must be completed separately through Apple’s subscription-management interface.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the app, its services, business model, or legal requirements change.
The revised Terms will be posted at this URL with a new effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
